hello
an exciting thing happened today:
i met up with Vestrit. i shall call him Vestrit. his name is william. vestrit. as you can see i am enamoured with the name Vestrit.

he is an artist, art student. and we are going to COLLABORATE. today we talked about what we are thinking. we are going to do something which neither of us could do individually. which is obviously The Point.

it will be to do with bodies. naked female bodies.

at the moment i am interested in how gender (and femininity) is socially constructed. and how to explore this visually. practically.

theorists i am interested in and have started reading include:
-judith butler
-simone de beauvoir
-kristeva
-and a lot of others.

this is fascinating.

in my head i have this image of a woman's face (like the scream) and behind her people jumping out of buildings and it's all scary and shocking. this is what i keep thinking of as the poster if V and I have a show.
what happens when art and fashion combine... Mayhem. ordered disorder. hmm who knows.
